“Littleton Constructions did a tremendous job of adding on a balcony extension complete with gabled tile roof, stucco walls, and engineered rock to the front of our home. After we supplied the original sketches of what we wanted, Littleton Construction pretty much did the rest including the site survey, engineering drawings, licensing, permitting, etc.  The entire experience was flawless.  This was not only because of the quality of the people doing the work, but really due to the excellent job they did as the general contractor. LC’s communication is excellent - using text, voice, and email to not only keep us informed of the schedule but also during the design and licensing phases.  During Covid the supply issues associated with getting construction materials or even finding stores open during the pandemic did not affect the schedule much.  Littleton Construction’s best feature was their ability to balance our inputs (they always listened) and their years of experience so that the final product not only reflected our design inputs, but equally important, a very high degree of engineered quality.  We had a few change-orders associated with last-minute design alterations and unforeseen construction issues, and these were handled professionally, with the slight increase in cost well explained.  To be truthful, we were a little apprehensive when we started this project, after all, we were effectively giving our home a facelift.  Would the design work?  Would it stand-out from the rest of the house or blend in?  Would it be high quality?  The net result however exceeded our wildest expectations.  We simply cannot overstate this.  When company is over, friends are regularly awed by the quality of the work and how they simply cannot distinguish between the new addition and the original construction.  Even the stucco texture matches.”

When we began thinking about our remodel project, we were very nervous about almost all aspects of the very large project. I had spoken to my coworker about his experience with your remodeling of his kitchen, and he had only very good things to say about Littleton Construction. I also had a general contractor whom I had met through my work at the bank, and with whom I was very comfortable. I had seen numerous examples of his work and knew he was very committed to producing the finished results on time and within budget. Even though my coworker recommended you, we were still nervous because we had no previous experience working with you. We ended up choosing Littleton Construction, and I am so happy we did.

You promise a lot in the literature you provide, on your website and through personal discussion. It seemed like a lot to live up to, and that you were setting yourself up to over promise and under deliver, which is very common in the construction industry. This seemed particularly true in our case, given the extensive work we wanted to do in a very limited amount of time. However, everything you say in your literature, on your website and verbally, is completely true.

You and all of your subcontractors were completely professional and punctual. Even our neighbors noticed the commitment you and your subs showed, by showing up early, staying late, even working weekends when necessary to keep the job on track and on schedule. When issues arose outside the scope of the project, you were quick to bring them to our attention and propose multiple solutions. Once a solution was decided, you and your crew took quick action to remedy the issues and keep everything moving.

The construction industry has pretty bad reputation for being unreliable and dishonest. You and your crews are the opposite, you are very reliable and very honest. There were numerous occasions where you had the opportunity to not be honest and we probably would have never known. But your integrity came through, even at your expense sometimes.

We are so happy with the work you did and can’t believe the amazing results of what turned out to be pretty much a total remodel of our home. The quantity and quality of work you produced in a two-month time period is difficult to believe, but we see it every day that the work is finished. We will certainly recommend you to anyone who asks because what you offer and deliver is extremely rare. Excellent communication, quality work and utmost integrity.

Dear Littleton Construction,

We are so pleased with our decision to use Littleton Construction to finish our basement. Throughout construction, they communicated with us on a daily basis and gave us updates and what to expect in the upcoming days.

We felt very comfortable with Littleton Construction and their team, and that our questions were always answered. And we were very surprised with how clean the workplace was left every night –everything was completely picked up and swept clean before the guys went home. We have an 18-month old son, and the workers were very conscientious of him and his safety.

Lastly, the project was finished over two weeks ahead of schedule. After working with other contractors in the past, this is something we could have never said. We will work with Littleton Construction again for all of our future projects.
